Want to hear a Greenwood Men's Group theme song...and see creative artificial intelligence in action, right before your eyes?
Alan will present on the AI tools he used to create "Greenwood Men" as a theme song for our group. He will demonstrate the finished song in different arrangements and then explain his convoluted process using AI tools to help develop the lyrics and music for the song.
Tell Alan what you think of his theme song, and which version you like best. Should we adopt it as our official song?
Imagine! Maybe we could proudly sing it at a future GSC karaoke event? Or in any nearby venue? Or, as a ritual to open our meetings?
"In Seattle, a fellow named Alan,
Kept his social group’s spirits from fallin’.
With a prompt and some code,
A theme song flowed,
Now the men have a tune worth extolling!"

As each day goes by, we're one day closer to The End. How many more days do you have? 500? 5,000? 10,000?
Whatever your number is, do you have any thoughts or feelings about dying?
Grim Reaper having a friendly conversation with senior menAccording to the research, men over age 65 generally view their own death as a natural and inevitable part of life, often with less fear and more acceptance compared to younger adults. Many express little anxiety about death itself, although some still experience concerns about the process of dying, such as fear of pain, loss of dignity, or becoming a burden to others.
Do you feel the same way? Or do you have a different perspective? Let's meet and talk it over.
In today's meeting, you'll view a Death Cafe video to set up our discussion. You'll also receive useful information to help you prepare and wisely come to terms with your finality.
Rich will be our facilitator.

Whether you were a biker or not, this film will not bore you!
New Zealander Burt Munro spent years perfecting his classic 1920 Indian motorcycle. The year is 1967, and Burt takes his machine to Utah's salt flats, where he attempts the impossible, using his dream bike to set a new world's record for speed. Based on a true story, the record Munro set more than three decades ago still has not been broken to this day.

Several event topics are under consideration. Whatever we do, it will be interesting -- and possibly unexpected. Stay tuned!
A few of the ideas are: guided meditation, visit fire station, "Trivial Pursuit" for seniors, share a book, list of favorite restaurants, discussion of senior concerns such as sleep problems, physical fitness, visit the Burke or Nordic museums, etc. And more!
If the weather is OK, the hiking group may take a morning walk in a local park or other destination. More details soon.
