Greenwood Men's Group (GMG) News

The goal of our group newsletter is to fill a possible gap in communication among our members.

Most of us already receive a weekly email from the Greenwood Senior Center facilitator, Bruce Baker, that announces upcoming events plus occasional related information. If you're not on his list, contact him here.

However, there is a lot that goes on in the men's group that isn't covered in the facilitator's communications. Keep in mind that the facilitator is a staff member of the senior center; he was not involved as a member of our group before being hired for the facilitator position.

We view our group newsletter as a supplement to communications from the group facilitator.

The GMG news aims to:

  • Broaden and deepen the communication among our members.
  • Help you feel better connected to the other guys.
  • Inform you of what's going on in the group or any developments we hear about that could affect the men's group.
  • Let you know when other members post something interesting or important to our site.
  • Alert you to valuable articles posted to our site.
  • Share thoughts, experiences and stories from other members.
  • Provide you with useful information that is collected from your interaction with our website.

Our newsletter will be occasional. It will only be sent out when we have something to say.
